Whistlepig Straight Rye Whiskey – Aged 15 years – Finished in Vermont Oak

Finished in Vermont Estate Oak, this is one of the oldest Whiskeys bottles by Whistlepig. The oak is harvested from Whistlepig’s own farm and has more rings than American Oak in traditional Whiskey barrels giving it more opportunity to impart deeper flavours during maturation. The Whiskey is wise beyond its years.

Tasting notes
Nose – Deep and Rich, dominated by Caramel, Vanilla and Oak with hints of Allspice and burnt Orange
Palate – Warm, rich and Creamy. Lots of Butterscotch and Baking Spice with Leather and a hint of Tobacco
Finish – Very long, rich and warm
