This is the same as New Riff’s delicious and successful Straight Rye. This New Riff Barrel Proof, Single Barrel expression is exactly as it sounds, from a Single Barrel and is Barrel Proof as well as being non chill-filtered.  It’s a rich Rye with lots of spicy depth gained from the 95% Rye, 5% Malted Rye mash bill that New Riff have honed over the last few years.

This is not a delicate or simple whiskey. This had been crafted for a robust and fulsome flavour and is mind-blowingly tasty.

Tasting notes
Nose – Sweet confection, Black pepper, Citrus and light Tobacco and grassy notes.
Palate – A spicy and sweet combination with earthy floral notes, citrus and dark fruits
Finish – Oak, Cocoa and dark fruits
