New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon Barrel Proof

New Riff’s Single Barrel Bourbon expression is a full-bodied, high-rye whiskey with lots of savoury, and spicy character. It’s bottled at Barrel Proof without the use of chill filtration which means that this whisky has come from one barrel, and hits the bottle exactly as it left it. No proofing down, no messing!  New Riff only uses non-GMO grain and uses a traditional sour mash technique.

We’d say that this is one of the best-kept secrets in Whiskey but its reputation is spreading. Grab it whilst you can.

Tasting notes
Nose – Fresh Oak, Butterscotch with hints of Tobacco, Vanilla and Rye Spice
Palate – Rich, Sweet vanilla, Dark Fruits, Cloves, Cinnamon and notes of Mint
Finish – A long spicy finish with dark fruits and cloves

Distilled and Bottled: Kentucky  Mash bill: 65% Corn, 30% Rye and 5% Malted Barley – Non chill-filtered
