Makers Mark Cask Strength Bourbon

Here’s a big one for those sweet of tooth but looking for something with a bit more heat.

Maker’s Mark is made with soft red winter wheat, instead of the usual rye, which gives a sweet and full-flavored bourbon that’s far too easy to drink considering it’s higher proof.

The Makers Mark Cask Strength is a single barrel bourbon, bottled without dilution or filtration. For those of us in the UK, unable to just pop over to Kentucky to taste the liquid in the rickhouses, this is as close to the way it came out of the cask as you will get. There’s also the added bonus of potential “off-profile” barrels, those wonderful oddities that take on aromas and flavours not typically associated with their respective distilleries.

Age Statement:  Approx 6 years   Proof: 55.05% abv (110.01 Proof)  Size: 70cl
