The John Collins is named after the 19th Century London bartender and has a Whiskey twist on the original recipe. It is a deliciously tasty, and highly refreshing, tall version of a Whiskey Sour. The John Collins makes for an excellent cocktail for long summer days.
- 1 and 1/2 measures of Bourbon
- 1 measure Lemon Juice
- 1 tbsp Simple Syrup
- 2 measures of Sparkling mineral water
- Garnish – Maraschino Cherry and an Orange Slice
Pour the Bourbon, lemon juice, and syrup into a Collins glass filled with ice and stir well. Top off with sparkling water and then garnish with the cherry and orange slice. Enjoy!!
